THE Classic Rock Station 100.7 KGMO and Happy Tails have teamed up to recognize the Dog Days of Summer Dog of the Week!

From loyal companions and adventure buddies to couch potatoes and professional treat inspectors, the Heartland is home to some incredible dogs — and this summer it’s time to show them off.

Use the form below to submit a photo of your precious fur baby for a chance to be selected as our Dog Days of Summer Dog of the Week. Each weekly winner will receive a FREE deep conditioning bath and nail treatment courtesy of Happy Tails!

Whether your pup loves chasing tennis balls, riding shotgun, guarding the backyard, or simply stealing the best seat in the house, every dog has a story worth celebrating. Submit your favorite photo and help us recognize some of the best dogs Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri have to offer during the Dog Days of Summer!

Crosby: Hi my name is Crosby and I am an almost year old Bernedoodle... My mom thinks I should join this silly contest because I don't fit in her bathtub anymore... I don't understand why Frank the Chihuahua fits just fine I'm not much bigger than him.... My favorite place in the world is in bed with my mom... The problem is when I jump up on the bed and lay on her she can't move me off of her or move out from under me and she says I stink.. She says it's hard giving a 70 lb dog a bath, but even if I stink she bear hugs me with kisses... I know she loves me!!!.

Lola: Lola is a Great Pyranese/Husky.. she is the best family member ever. She doesn’t bark but chatters when trying to show she needs something. She loves to be in the middle of everything and immediately takes your seat as soon as you get up and looks for your response. but her most admirable quality is her closeness to our daughter.

Shadow: Shadow is a 2 year old full blood Siberian husky who loves to roam and play outdoors even during the hottest days. He loves swimming and playing in the water and he loves people. During a hard time in my life a while back he helped me stay hopeful and keep the thoughts from getting too bad.

Mr. Wilson: Because Mr Wilson is freaking awesome!! He is a 9 month old American football terrier. Mr Wilson and I crossed paths when I was walking out of work this past February and had noticed a dog cage in the parking lot. Inside of that cage was very emaciated very dirty Mr Wilson so I brought him home and he has had a long road to recovery! But he's happy, healthy and beautiful now.

Jazzy: Because she was side of the road pickup. She is a 5 month old lab

Willow: Willow is a full blood lab and the reason she needs to be picked is because she’s had a good soul. She loves everyone.

Debra: Debra is a rough collie with a big personality. She loves rides, swimming, and running for anything you wanna throw for her. She is an outstanding girl who always follows commands. She deserves a day off the farm to be pampered.

Oakley: Oakley thinks she is an 80 pound lap dog. Her favorite things to do include cuddling, swimming, diving under the water, and of course taking naps in her humans bed! She does great for nail trims and would love a good spa day. She also would just love all the attention!

Koda: Koda plays hard and loves even harder. He loves to run and play ball with his 2 sisters and cousins. He would definitely love a nice bath after all that playing.

Ruby: She is loving full of energy. She is Corgi. She really need a bath and her nails done.

Aggie: Aggie is going to be 12 in September and still acts like she is two. She is very happy and very smart. She loves getting company and loves going for rides. (I think she would drive the car if I would let her.). She is boxer/hound weight 47lbs, and is a very loving girl. We went to obedience school and she received a certificate at her graduation and I got yelled at. She loves her puppy ice cream after dinner and can be very demanding if I am not fast enough getting it for her . She has a big bark for a little girl. She hates to be left alone so we cater to her. She has stolen my heart!!!!

Presley Marie: She is part wiener dog and some sort of shepherd. Has one blue eye and one brown. She loves to play ball, she likes baths too. She will be 2 in October so she has a lot of spunk.

Gaviota: Gaviota or Gavy is a bullypit mix. She loves her spa days! Especially when she gets to put her onesies on after her pawpering spa as we call it!

Milo: Milo is a 5 month old pit. He is the sweetest baby even when he gets the zoomies.

Travis: He's a great pyrenees lab mix. He's the friendly giant to walk the streets. He loves treats. He enjoy sit up next to people and watching tv while they rub his chest but more importantly he loves to be outdoors playing.

Saraya: Saraya is a 3 year old American Pitbull Terrier. She is sweet, loving, gentle, goofball that loves to meet new people.

Vandal: Vandal is a standard American bully, blue Merle He has one gray eye and one bright blue eye. 1.5 year-old, this boy has never met a stranger, big goofball with the biggest smile you’ll ever see. he adores children plays well with dogs and cats and is my best friend, I would recommend American bully to anybody. They are great dogs with proper training. This boy knows all his commands and would love to see y’all soon.

Ace Phillips: Ace is a rescue dog from the local humane society in cape he is believed to be part border collie with Labrador and German shepherd he is the best dog. He watches over our daughter and protects our chickens he needs a good bath and to be pampered.

Fat Frank: Frank aka Fat Frank aka Gums (American Pit Bull Terrier) recently released from the doggie penal system skinny, scared, tooth challenged, and almost broken but in true bull breed fashion bounced back gained 35 lbs acquired several Neck Rolls (: and exhibits what ALL dogs are capable of given the opportunity grit, resiliency and the sweetest disposition Plus he Loves Baths!
