I was bow hunting on family property. This is my first kill with a bow. The buck was walking by my stand. I made z noise to make it stop and the rest is history!

Me and dad first time hunting in 3 years. He shot first and missed so I had to take and shot and dropped it where is was. I had to show my old dad how to do it.

I got in my stand around 6:00am and shot at a doe, completely missed her! Seen a buck that I didn't even get a chance to get my rifle up! Then one comes in straight in front of my stand, let him get closer, took a shot and MISSED! He took off snorting and blowing!! I was feeling pretty crummy when I'm looking around over my left shoulder and there stood the big boy!! I got up collected myself, got my rifle read, found him in my scope and took the shot! He was going down when he went out of sight! Found him around 9:00am!! My biggest buck ever!!

Me and the ole lady got together in 2020 and We’ve watched this deer ever since on her family farm. Always been a 7 point. Every year when bow season would start he would disappear. The evening i got him, me and the ole lady went out together to get a doe. We wasn’t expecting him to show up at all, but there he was 30 yards. “Lobster Claw” is finally down 10-04-2024.

This is my son Lawson's buck he got on our land in Dallas County. He was looking at his phone, and luckily his girlfriend spotted the buck! He harvested it right after she called his attention to it.
