Carrie Bowman: I got in my stand around 6:00am and shot at a doe, completely missed her! Seen a buck that I didn't even get a chance to get my rifle up! Then one comes in straight in front of my stand, let him get closer, took a shot and MISSED! He took off snorting and blowing!! I was feeling pretty crummy when I'm looking around over my left shoulder and there stood the big boy!! I got up collected myself, got my rifle read, found him in my scope and took the shot! He was going down when he went out of sight! Found him around 9:00am!! My biggest buck ever!!

Seth rowcliff: Started out last year getting a 26 acre lease, I’d had roughly 10 pictures in November of him but he was broke off. Ended up finding his sheds in February 2024, fast forward to June he showed back up in velvet and he was perfectly symmetrical. Started getting pictures about every 2 weeks of him. November 10th I jumped him out of a tree line for my first in person sighting. November 13 I had a doe jump on the levy behind me, turns out he was bumping her around. They ended up going down wind of me. I grunted then they both came in to the back of my stand. Shot him at 7.5 yards

Debbie Statler: This morning I rolled out of bed at 5:45, skipped breakfast, headed to the woods. I sat down in my deer stand at 6:15 and popped open a Diet Coke. As I was enjoying my first sip I glanced to my right and saw antlers. I slowly lowered my Diet Coke and grabbed my gun. The buck was strolling down the hill to my right. I got a look at him through the scope to make sure he was a shooter. On this farm, my husband sets some general standards to ensure deer are given the opportunity to mature. When I saw him clearly, my heart started racing, my whole body started shaking….he qualified. One shot. Down.

Greg Statler: Congratulations to my husband! He harvested this monster buck on our farm not too long after he sat down in his stand this morning. Definitely one for the freezer and the wall! This guy got up at 4am, fixed biscuits and gravy for everyone, fed the cattle, drove everyone to their deer stands, then finally made it to his stand. Just minutes later he made one shot. He deserves this trophy. He works hard to maintain this farm. Not only making sure that the deer are managed in a way that we all can enjoy the sport of hunting but also providing for our family.

Jessica Dollins: I got the deer on opening day in the golden hour. It's an 8 pointer. My husband helped me hoist him up the sxs. We dropped him off at Country Roads Meat market in Wapappelo to be processed. I shot him and he dropped like a sack of taters... after we loaded him up I went to get my stuff out of my stand and was walking back to the side by side. I tripped and fell and broke my foot putting an end to my hunting season.

Connor Nenninger: Connor was on a hunting adventure with his dad during youth season. This was the first deer he has ever shot. The deer was about 50 yards away and he shot between two trees and got it right in the heart. Connor and his dad thought it was just a smaller buck until they got closer. This deer was a 12 pointer and scored 186 gross.

Kenneth Roberts: Me and the ole lady got together in 2020 and We’ve watched this deer ever since on her family farm. Always been a 7 point. Every year when bow season would start he would disappear. The evening i got him, me and the ole lady went out together to get a doe. We wasn’t expecting him to show up at all, but there he was 30 yards. “Lobster Claw” is finally down 10-04-2024.

Sarah Sharp: This is my son Lawson's buck he got on our land in Dallas County. He was looking at his phone, and luckily his girlfriend spotted the buck! He harvested it right after she called his attention to it.
